Sara Bostwick focuses her practice on education law and employment discrimination. Ms. Bostwick received her BBA from Hofstra University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and her Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law.
Prior to joining the Law Office of Steven Morelli, Ms. Bostwick worked for a prominent New York City law firm where she advised her clients in employment discrimination matters, traveled around the country to represent them and negotiated multi-million dollar settlements on their behalf.
Ms. Bostwick is passionate about protecting the rights of children to ensure that each child receives the proper services and accommodations in public and private school settings under federal and state law.
Barton P. Levine
For more than 30 years, Bart Levine has been the principal member of the Law Offices of Barton P. Levine. Mr. Levine specializes in estate planning, probate and estate administration, bankruptcy representation, special needs planning, medicaid planning, guardianship representation, elder law representations and real estate representation.
Mr. Levine presents free educational seminars to the public throughout the greater New York City metropolitan area. These seminars are intended to educate the public about the importance of proper estate planning. Seminar topics include Basic Estate Planning, Asset Protection, Special Needs Planning, Medicaid Planning, Estate Planning for the GLBT Community, IRA Planning and many others.
Mr. Levine also presents continuing education courses to the professional community.
Mr. Levine has been a member of the New York Bar since 1973. Mr. Levine is also admitted to practice law before the federal courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Mr. Levine is a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys (AAEPA) and the New York City Bar Association.
James Wilkens, senior trial counsel, joined Duffy & Duffy in 2003. Listed in The Best lawyers in America and The Best Lawyers in New York, Mr. Wilkens focuses on catastrophic medical malpractice cases, owning a record nearly unmatched in trial law.
He obtained the highest verdict in the U.S. in 2007, $109 million for a young man who was the victim of a delayed diagnosis of a brain abscess. In 2002, he acquired the highest medical malpractice verdict, $94.8 million, for a young Brooklyn boy stricken with cerebral palsy. His $24 million verdict for a young victim of sickle cell anemia was the largest reported verdict for a victim of that disease. In five of the last ten years he has had one of the top 100 personal injury verdicts in the country. In 2011, representing a graduate of the St. Edmund faculty, he secured the highest verdict in New York State.
He is a past president of the New York Academy of Trial Lawyers and the New York State Bar Association. A former member of the board of directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Mr. Wilkens has served as chairman of its Lead Paint Litigation Committee and has been a frequent lecturer. He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and has served as a faculty member of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, instructing other experienced attorneys in trial technique.

This advanced certification is currently held by a limited number of financial planners and as a ChSNC®, Scott is positioned to provide professional advice in estate and tax planning concepts, special needs trusts, and various government programs (SSI and Medicaid) to families caring for people with disabilities. Tailoring a comprehensive financial plan to meet the needs of two generations requires a thorough knowledge of the financial industry as well as an understanding of the emotional dynamics involved. Scott resides in Long Island, New York with his wife and 2 sons. In his spare time, Scott practices Mixed Martial arts and holds a Black Belt in Karate as well as his certification in Mixed Martial Arts Instruction. He’s an avid networker and one of the founding members of “LIPOD,” a Long Island Networking Group as well as a founding member of “Signature Networking Group” in Manhattan. Scott continues to serve on the Board of Directors of the non-profit organization, “Let All the Children Play.” He’s an active fund-raiser and long time supporter of the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, from Syracuse University.
